We had planned a shoot which combined simplicity, and luxury. We were incredibly lucky to use the gorgeous Thorpe Manor, a luxury wedding venue in Oxfordshire, as an elegant and timeless backdrop.
This editorial was all about clean lines and contemporary styling set within the historic manor house. Emma’s vision of sophistication amongst the lovingly renovated estate bridged the gap between the old and the new.

Liz from Blue Sky Flowers worked her magic by creating unstructured and natural floral arrangements illuminated by candlelight. The grand piano in the entrance hall to Thorpe Manor was adorned with sweetly scented blooms setting the scene for romance.
Our bride radiated in a number of different looks. The stunning dresses were complimented by flawless make up and hair by Sanni Sorma and sparkling modern jewellery by Georgina Boyce.

A Word From The Planner

I asked Emma where she got her inspiration for the shoot. She told me that the crisp white fabric and structural silhouette of the Jesus Piero gown set the tone. She wanted to experiment with the concept of understated luxury and see what striking results she could create with white and accents of gold and blush pink.

Emma loves working with up and coming suppliers on shoots and this one was no exception. Spinazzi Design are new to wedding stationery, so it was really exciting to work with Maya – she does minimalism so well!

This editorial was an absolute pleasure to be part of and I was extremely proud to see it featured on Amber and Muse (a blog I have long admired) earlier this year.
