I am incredibly proud to have been selected as an Ugbrooke House Wedding supplier.
Ugbrooke House is a truly unique and wonderful venue in Devon UK with a rich history. Their team are passionate about offering a luxurious and exclusive wedding experience to their couples making it one of my favourite venues in the UK.
When Jessica from Ardour & Bow asked me to be involved with this shoot I jumped at the chance! You don’t need to ask me twice to photograph a gorgeous couple in the stunning 900 year old Ugbrooke House wedding venue. Stately homes like this are my dream locations! This shoot was beautifully styled and the concept was gorgeous to photograph. Plus the models were a real couple which made the chemistry between them fantastic.
Shooting entirely on film allowed my to challenge myself creatively and artistically. We were blessed with the most beautiful light and the rooms and grounds of Ugbrooke House were perfectly majestic!
Here are a few words about the shoot from Ardour and Bow
“We wanted to showcase the wonderfully romantic spaces, making use of the architectural details, along with the quintessential parterre grounds, to bring the story to life.
Lifting the soft sage green, found resplendent in the historic Robert Adam designed Library, to form the basis of the refined colour palette. This was paired with a hint of blush pink and gold accents, to reflect the gold cornicing used extensively throughout the house.
The overall design concept was to reflect the sumptuous surroundings and stately features to produce an opulent look of refined elegance. The style is reminiscent of tradition, whilst embracing contemporary touches, demonstrating that whilst Ugbrooke House is an important country estate, it offers the perfect backdrop for each and every couple to reflect their own style.”
I’m so looking forward to my next Ugbrooke House wedding with Ardour & Bow. It’s sure to be breathtaking!
