Today I’m sharing some photographs from a beautifully understated, intimate Ugbrooke House wedding I photographed in the autumn.
Amidst the chaos and disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic, some couples are putting love above all else. They are pushing forward with their weddings despite having to significantly reduce their guest list. Jaga and Tim were one such couple who pulled their Ugbrooke House wedding together in a matter of weeks.
They were surrounded by their closest friends and family to celebrate their special day. The amazing team at Ugbrooke House went above and beyond to deliver an exquisite wedding for them.
Jaga got ready in the beautiful bridal suite and their wedding ceremony took place in the gorgeous chapel on the grounds of the house. The ceremony was so full of love and special touches from the couple’s guests, everyone was beaming from ear to ear (underneath their masks!)
The reception took place in the drawing room at Ugbrooke House which was a wonderfully cosy setting for fizz and canapés. The dining room was set with beautiful flowers, sparkling glass wear and gleaming silver all set off by the magnificent chandeliers.
The speeches were truly touching with special messages from friends and family all across the world wishing the couple the best of luck. When I left the celebration, the room was filled with laugher and merriment!
This Ugbrooke House wedding perfectly demonstrates how personal and special intimate weddings are. In some ways they are even more so than the big celebrations we are used to.
I’m looking forward to photographing many more micro wedding in the coming months.
Thank you to Jaga & Tim for trusting me to capture your day and for being the most beautiful people inside and out.
Love wins, always.
