I’ve been so looking forward to sharing this St Giles House wedding, it’s an absolute beauty!
St Giles House is an English manor house located in Wimborne, East Dorset. As soon as I set foot in the entrance hall and soaked in the faded grandeur of the property I was beyond excited to load my film and begin capturing this elegant wedding day.
My beautiful bride Emily got ready in the bridal suite where peeling wallpaper and exposed brick is complemented by antique furniture and an impressive four poster bed. The girls sipped bubbly while they were pampered and Emily’s classic Jesus Piero gown hung in the background. The boys used the recently refurbished Riding House to get ready on the morning of the wedding and enjoyed a couple of beers and a spot of pool.
The wedding ceremony took place at the local church which was minutes walk from St Giles House, it was a traditional ceremony with beautiful musical performances. Afterwards, the guests meandered back to St Giles where they enjoyed champagne and canapés on the manicured lawn.
St Giles House has a rich history which shows through the interiors of the manor house. The couple let the unique details of the property shine through and added beautiful floral displays to highlight mantle pieces.
The delicious wedding breakfast was served in the library followed by some brilliant and heart felt speeches.
After a day of elegance the guests descended into the custom built night club in the converted wine cellar below St Giles House where they partied the night away.
This wedding was pure elegance and sophistication from start to finish. Thank you Emily & Charles for a truly wonderful day.
