This Spiegeltent wedding is going to absolutely blow your socks off! I think this might be one of the most unique, spirited, energetic and colourful weddings I have ever photographed, and Sarah & David being the loveliest couple ever made this day all the more awesome!
The wedding day started off in a fairly traditional manner with Sarah the bride getting ready at her family home before the church ceremony. Vows were said, confetti was thrown, family photographs were taken, but that is where the ‘normal’ wedding ended. What followed was a cross between a festival and a trip to the circus, which was attended by some seriously photogenic and stylish guests!
When Sarah and Davis told me they were having their reception in a Spiegeltent I had to Google it. I had never even heard of one let alone seen one! On the day when I walked into the Spiegeltent wedding I honestly was lost for words. It was like no venue, or even place, I had ever seen. Sarah & David are both in events which is how they got their hands on this amazing structure. I don’t think there are even that many of them in the world!
The field which the Spiegeltent was set in, was the perfect place for guests to mingle and chill whilst taking in the views of rolling countryside. Then once within the tent they were transported to a wonderland of mirrors and magic.
As the spring evening turned to night the wedding party were treated to some spectacular fireworks. They were then ushered into the Spiegeltent to hit the dance floor, which was lit with an enormous disco ball. It was incredible!
Thank you to Sarah & David for my first Spiegeltent wedding, this is one I won’t ever forget!
