Well I’ve got such a treat of a wedding to share this evening. This Duncton Mill Fishery wedding has to be one of my faves of the year. Not only because I know the bride and groom well but also because it was just such a fantastically styled day. I met Jon & Julie about 10 years ago when I worked on West Wittering Beach with them and I was there the summer they fell in love, awwwww! So when they approached me to photograph their wedding I was over the flipping moon! The day was so so special and emotional, Julie looked incredible in the dress her mum made (I know!) and Jon looked so dashing in his tweed suit.
The ceremony took place at the lovely Boxgrove Priory, there were lots of happy tears and heaps of confetti! The reception followed at Duncton where an awesome tipi stood next to the picturesque lake. The guests were able to enjoy ales, bubbles, rowboat rides and lawn games whilst soaking up the late summer sun. After the seriously side splitting speeches (one featuring two broken eggs!)
the guests got involved in some sparkler fun then danced the night away to the brilliant Dukes, everyone was pretty merry when we left J
Jon and Julie are just the most beautiful couple inside and out, they have been through so much together and it so clear to see that they are rock solid and will enjoy the most wonderful marriage. Love you guys, congratulations! Xxx
A mega thank you goes out to Nicola from Adorlee who was my second shooter, loved working together!
