This Cowdray House wedding is what dreams are made of. Incredible venue, stunning weather, gorgeous couple, stylish guests and a whole lot of love. Basically a photographer’s dream!
I first met Laura & James way before the pandemic hit when I did they engagement shoot in London. I was so struck by their easy going nature and playful banter. They were such fun to photograph and were constantly laughing. Fast forward a couple of years, a couple of postponements and their Cowdray House wedding finally came around. It was a beautiful sunny day and when I arrived at bridal prep Laura was already glowing with happiness. The bridal suite at Cowdray House has the most incredible light, combine that with a naturally gorgeous bride and bridal party and you’re on to a winner.
The ceremony took place in a nearly church and the service was sull of laughter and character. The guests and couple then made their way back to Cowdray House wedding venue where they were greeted with champagne and entertained by a string quartet on the terrace.
As you will see from these photographs, Laura & James were absolutely amazing to photograph, their chemistry was simply electric and we had so much fun during their portrait session. We were even treated to an amazing golden hour just before the speeches began.
Hilarious doesn’t quite cut it when describing the speeches. There was cheering, laughing, crying and guests up on chairs, it was epic! Laura then changed into a more slinky dress for the evening and the couple wowed their guests with a brilliant first dance. Then it was time to party!!
The night was rounded off with the most spectacular firework display I have ever seen. This Cowdray House wedding is one I will never forget!
