This absolutely gorgeous engagement shoot took place at the stunning Chiswick House in London. We chose Chiswick House because my couple wanted somewhere with beautiful gardens and lots of variety for their photographs.
We were so lucky that the beautiful rose garden was in full bloom and the wisteria was looking fabulous too. The dreamy colour palette of the summer garden was lovely to photograph. Shooting film allowed me to capture the soft light and amazing grounds of Chiswick House in the most beautiful way. To find out more about what I love about film photography click here.
Engagement shoots are a fantastic chance to get some practice in front of the camera and also an opportunity for me to establish how to photograph my couples. In my experience, if you do an engagement shoot, come the wedding day you will already be ‘warmed up’ for your couple photos. This will not only help you to feel more relaxed but also save precious time, so you can get back to your guests (and that glass of fizz!). It’s also a good time to get to know each other.
