Ardington House Wedding

Just before my wedding season well and truly kicks off tomorrow I wanted to share this absolutely beautiful Ardington House Wedding. This gorgeous event took place at the end of summer last year and was planned to perfection by the insanely talented Emma Joy.

As Emma really does have the most elegant way with words I will let her sum it up.

Emma’s Words

‘Kate and Adi’s wedding day was one of those rare and incredible fall days when the sun shines and the trees are ablaze with colour.

Having met at graduate school, the couple are now based in London and they chose Ardington House, a picturesque country estate in Oxfordshire, for their wedding. It was a happy celebration that brought together friends and family from across the world and fused American and British wedding traditions seamlessly.

Kate looked breathtaking in her Monique Lhuillier gown, her sister was a vision in white and her bridesmaids wore elegant navy dresses. Tumbling designs made from seasonal foliage adorned the church and traditional wedding bells sounded as the newly-weds were showered with confetti.

Honouring the groom’s Indian heritage, the couple chose a palette of vibrant pink and orange for the tent. Custom stationery by Every Little Letter, rattan chargers and knotted napkins gave their tables a woodsy, romantic feel. After dark, the lights twinkled and the dance floor beckoned!’

As you will see from the photographs, this was a day filled with love, laugher and joy. I’m so excited to be photographing another Ardington House wedding next month, it truly is a very special venue.
