This was a very special wedding for me because I went to school with the gorgeous bride Emily, she was beautiful in school and even more beautiful on her wedding day 🙂 It was so special to be there to capture her tying the knot with her lovely beau Pete and their day was just beyond wonderful.
Emily looked so incredible in her lace detailed Maggie Sottero dress, I loved the sparkly capped sleeve. Her stunning hair and make up was done by the amazing Lucy from ID (another supplier I always love to work with) and the beautiful flowers were created by Driftwood Flowers.
After a ceremony in St Stephen’s Church, North Mundham, Pete surprised Emily with an amazing vintage motorcycle complete with sidecar. I followed the newlyweds as they cruised down the country lanes until we found a perfect spot for photos. These two were just a dream to photograph, so sweet together and so in love.
Afterward we headed back to Emily’s dad’s house where the reception was in full swing. Guests were sipping bubbly and nibblling canapés, oh and testing their skills on a surf simulator machine!
The speeches were truly heartfelt and I really struggled to keep it together during Pete’s. Then the night kicked off with The Deloreans and the guests filled the dance floor and pulled out some epic dance moves.
It was so wonderful to catch up with Emily & so many other old friends from Chichester High School, I wish Mr & Mrs Smithers all the happiness in the world and hope to see them again soon.
