So, office has been tidied, desk has been organised, it’s time to write my end of year blog. And I thought I would whip through it but hours later I’m still pouring over the past year’s weddings and engagement shoots trying to select my very favourite pictures from each one. It’s been a lovely chance to relive each and every wedding and reminice over the brides, the dresses, the flowers, the special moments, oh the list goes on and on. The one thing compiling these pictures has made me realise is what a lucky lucky girl I have been this past year. I have had the absolutely pleasure to get to know so many wonderful couples, so in love and so excited about their big day. I then get to see these amazing people promise themselves to each other and enjoy the most fabulous day of their lives. This is my job, I can’ quite believe how jammy I am!
The best thing about every couple is that they are all different and no two weddings are ever the same. Over the past 12 months I have seen the most alternative to the most classic and sophisticated shindigs and had the pleasure of working with so many incredible talented suppliers and vendors in the most beautiful venues. I have also done some gorgeous engagement shoots which have allowed me to become even closer with these wonderful lovebirds and capture them at their best, totally smoochy and in love 🙂
So what does 2014 hold for me? So so many exciting weddings which I simply can’t wait to shoot, not least my very own wedding eeeeek!!!
I can’t end this post without saying the most enormous, HUUUUUGE thank you to all my incredibly supportive friends and family who have offered me unending advice and encouragement in my second year of business. Without these rocks in my life I would be lost, it’s true.
